As a club we had a great day travelling up to York and playing in our first 7's tournament.
The men's team played four games in total and managed to win a match comfortably whilst just missing out on the other three with just a couple of points in them. The ladies team played some tough games but showed great determination to win their first match for the club.
York put on some food for us at a local pub before we headed back on the minibus home. It was the night of our monthly lotto draw so we all headed back to The Grapes for a few drinks and a bit of a dance.
All in all it was a cracking day out for the club. We look forward to the next one and taking the trophy from York.
