St Vincent's Ladies players represent Yorkshire

Five St Vincent’s players were part of the Yorkshire squad that took part in the inaugural All Britain 9s tournament held last weekend. The inter-county tournament, celebrating 50 years of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA), was played at Pairc na hEireann in Birmingham.

Charlotte Higgins, Carmel Black, Sarah Carberry, Emily O’Keeffe and Aisling McNulty were part of a Yorkshire squad that gave a great performance in a series of closely fought matches.

An early win over Warwickshire was followed by two narrow defeats to London and Hertfordshire.

This was the first time that St Vincent’s has had members of the Ladies team represent Yorkshire. Everyone at the club is incredibly proud of their achievement and we look forward to more successes going forward.
