During these tough times we recognise all the incredible work that the key workers are doing across the country, especially those that are part of the club. As a way of showing our thanks and appreciation we wanted to raise some money for Sheffield Hospitals Charity.

So as a club, we are going to run the length of Ireland, from Malin Head to Mizen Head. That's a total of 1040km over the course of 12 days, starting Friday 15th May.

Each day, members of the club will complete a run, upload a picture to social media and use the hashtag #RunVincentsRun At 9pm each day we'll show on a map where the combined distance has gotten us on the journey.

If you would like to donate any money via the GoFundMe page, you can access it below. Please share with as many friends and family as you can so we can smash our target.

Thanks in advance for your support. Let's do this!

The end of season dinner dance is once again upon us.

Following on from an extremely successful dinner dance celebrating the club's first year, it's back again for 2019 and it promises to be bigger and better than ever!

With live music from Indigo, Irish dancing from Sheffield's own Scoil Rince Nua, great food, awards and our monthly club lotto, it's set to be a cracker of a night to celebrate another successful year for the club.

Get your tickets from our club secretary, details below.

Hope to see you there!

Last week, Sheffield United's very own John Egan came down to training along with Sky Sports News and Premier League Productions. Johns father was a Gaelic football legend who helped Kerry win 6 All-Ireland titles and 9 Munster Championships. Sky Sports and PLP were doing a piece on John so decided to get his local GAA club involved.

After finishing his interviews, John let us ask him a load of questions with our own player profile before taking on our 6 shot challenge (should've been 6 but only did 5..our fault). After knocking 4 balls over the bar, John presented the club with a Sheffield United shirt which was signed by himself and fellow Irish blades: Callum Robinson, Enda Stevens and David McGoldrick.

The Sky Sports piece can be found here where you can see the team trying not to show off in-front of the camera, and the Irish Post also did a feature on John where you will be able to see the video of the 6 shot challenge he did on our pitch.

Was great having John come down, he was a great sport and would happily get him signed up to the team when he gets bored of playing soccer 😉
