Earlier in September, the girls had the chance to make history by winning the Yorkshire LGFA Championship for the first time since the club began.
The match was played on home soil and brought in a big crowd on a sweltering hot day. It was end-to-end all game with plenty of goals, but it was Brothers Pearse who came out on top and sadly beating the girls 8-12 to 8-07. It was a great display of football and the team should be proud. We move on and look forward to next year. Good luck to Brother Pearse in the All Britain.
